I have extensive experience in the FMCG industry gained during a stellar career, spanning 20 years. During this time, I became aware of my passion for sales, merchandising, brand building and brand reputation. I built my expertise in the areas of understanding of market dynamics, consumer trends & changes and developing solutions and strategies for sales execution.
My strengths are my ability to create brand value, my deep knowledge of brand selling, commercial
marketing, merchandising and sales. During my career, I noticed that the African township market was
being under-utilised by FMCG companies as a place to build brands. I’ve always had a long standing
dream to create a company where I would be able to choose a reliable team of people from various
cultures to build brands in the townships and create an environment where not only would the people
in the township feel like winners but the brands would be built successfully and would be widely
available and visible. The fulfilment of this dream came in 2013 when I established The Brand and
Beverage Company.
I believe that what is worth doing is worth doing well. My working style is meticulous, systematic and
highly innovative. I am passionate about developing people and am committed to the maintenance of
high standards. I take pride in my ability to make tough decisions, which has enabled me to successfully
develop unique and revolutionary sales and merchandising solutions.
